The Mentone Area Preservation Association is pleased to present its 35th annual Colorfest fall festival during the 3rd weekend in October, 2016.
The kickoff event of the festival is the traditional Friday night bonfire, this year held at the former Mentone Springs Hotel property. The cool night air creates the perfect scenario for live music, refreshments and relaxing around the open fire.
Beginning Saturday morning and continuing throughout the day, Brow Park will be brimming with talented artists and craftsmen offering their handmade wares. The Brow Park pavilion provides the stage for local area musicians who'll be performing all day. Don't worry about food! There will be plenty on hand from traditional festival food vendors to local eateries participating in the "Taste of Mentone." Sunday, the final day of the festival, offers another chance to nab a unique piece of art, sample the local cuisine and hear local musicians performing at Brow Park. Visit the tent stage at the former Mentone Springs Hotel property for cloggers, storytelling and more.
If you are an artist or craftsman interested in selling your handmade wares, the link below will provide you with an application for submission. With an estimated attendance of 12,000-15,000 at this event, we encourage you to join us!
Come celebrate the fall season on the mountain with us during this family-oriented event!
